The lands of Xaria are rich with magik. All things generate a piece of that magikal strength. Long ago the creatures of the world that were not Men, not Monsters, not Elves nor Dwarves... these creatures knew fear and uncertainty, and these feelings came from the other races in the world. The fear and subconscious hope for salvation caused the Great Beast Lord to be born.
The Beast Lord is the embodiment of the faith and lifeforce of the Beastmen. The Beast Lord was not a greater god, but was strong. To defend the lesser creatures of the world against Man, the Beast Lord crafted the Beastmen- half man, half beast.
All Beastmen pray to the same being. The Beast Lord is a shapeshifter and has many faces- one for each race of Beastmen. He (or she) is all beasts at once. Although he has many faces and changes Gender depending on the worshipping race, Beastmen know that each aspect of the Beast Lord is another face of the same deity.
